| dc.description | Globalization is a phenomenon that you are seeing more and more over time. Foreign chain stores are growing and managing to add elements of cultural modernization to even the most traditional areas. For example, the center of old Nicosia, which is one of the most traditional areas, is also a well-known point for tourists and immigrants due to its multiculturalism. The purpose of this research is to illustrate the two identities that prevail in old Nicosia through the design of a series of posters. The research methodology used is Action Research with a total of three design cycles. Using x, y, axis, five streets are selected and depending on the characteristics that prevail in each one, a color palette is created that will represent it. Graphic grids are created with artistic influence that will help with the placing of the elements. The merging of the two identities is presented through the design elements used, such as the transparent slide. The collection of photographic material is done with the help of Google Street View and the Screenshot tool, while the contents of the photos are divided into two categories, visual communication and urban elements. Despite the difficulties presented, the final result of the representation of the two identities, according to the results of the final evaluations, is considered successful. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Η παγκοσμιοποίηση είναι ένα φαινόμενο που παρατηρείτε ολοένα και περισσότερο με το πέρασμα του χρόνου. Οι αλυσίδες ξένων καταστημάτων αυξάνονται και καταφέρνουν να προσθέτουν στοιχεία πολιτισμικού εκσυγχρονισμού ακόμη και στις πιο παραδοσιακές και ιστορικές περιοχές. Για παράδειγμα το κέντρο της παλιάς Λευκωσίας που αποτελεί μια από τις πιο παραδοσιακές περιοχές, είναι παράλληλα και γνωστό σημείο κατατεθέν για τουρίστες και μετανάστες λόγο της πολύπολιτισμικότητας της. Σκοπός την συγκεκριμένης έρευνας είναι η απεικόνιση των δύο ταυτοτήτων που επικρατούν στην παλιά Λευκωσία μέσω σχεδιασμού μιας σειράς αφισών. Η ερευνητική μεθοδολογία που χρησιμοποιείται είναι η Ερευνα Δράση με συνολικά τρείς σχεδιαστικούς κύκλους. Επιλέγονται με την χρήση αξόνων x, y, πέντε οδοί και ανάλογα με τα χαρακτηριστικά που επικρατούν στην κάθε μία δημιουργείτε η χρωματική παλέτα που θα την αντιπροσωπεύει. Ενώ με καλλιτεχνική επιρροή δημιουργούνται τα γραφιστικά πλέγματα που θα βοηθήσουν στην τοποθέτηση των στοιχείων. Η συγχώνευση των δύο ταυτοτήτων παρουσιάζεται μέσω των σχεδιαστικών στοιχείων που χρησιμοποιούνται, όπως η διαφανής διαφάνεια. Η συλλογή φωτογραφικού υλικού γίνετε με την βοήθεια του Google Street View και του εργαλείου Screenshot ενώ τα περιεχόμενα από τις φωτογραφίες χωρίζονται σε δύο κατηγορίες, την οπτική επικοινωνία και τα αστικά στοιχεία. Παρόλες τις δυσκολίες που παρουσιάστηκαν, το τελικό αποτέλεσμα την απεικόνισης των δύο ταυτοτήτων , σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα των αξιολογήσεων είναι επιτυχής. | en_US |
