dc.descriptionThis current research shows the history of the most known and popular after war symbols in the world like the peace symbol and the dove with the olive branch. Furthermore, the after war symbol "Den Ksehno " is presented with the big background. The symbol was created in the first days of the Turkish occupation of Cyprus and automatically became known to everybody. It reminds the decisive moment of Cyprus. In our days the symbol it’s presented mostly in the educational system. Moreover in the research, it’s presented the redesign of the symbol "Den Ksehno" for the use of an experiment. There is also a variation of the symbol created by a stranger. With a stencil he created small graffiti in the area of old Limassol. Through that variation, there is an irony towards the young and the people of Cyprus. Influenced by this irony the final stickers of the research will be presented at the end. The phrases for the design of the final stickers will be gathered from the experiment that will follow. In the end, stickers will be created in 4 variants and will be printed and placed in various locations in Old city of Limassol. Since it is the center of influence of most young people in our days.en_US
dc.description.abstractΗ παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία δείχνει την ιστορία διαφόρων διάσημων και σημαντικών μεταπολεμικών συμβόλων όπως το σύμβολο της ειρήνης και του περιστεριού με το κλαδί ελιάς. Επιπλέον παρουσιάζεται το σύμβολο "Δεν Ξεχνώ" και η μεγάλη ιστορία του. Δημιουργήθηκε και κυκλοφόρησε τις πρώτες μέρες της Τούρκικης κατοχής για να θυμίζει την καθοριστική στιγμή της Κύπρου. Το σύμβολο αυτό πλέον το βρίσκουμε κυρίως στο εκπαιδευτικό σύστημα. Στην συνέχεια, γίνεται επανασχεδιασμός του συμβόλου για την χρήση του στο πείραμα που ακολουθεί. Ακόμη, παρουσιάζεται και μια παραλλαγή του συμβόλου που δημιούργησε κάποιος άγνωστος και με στένσιλ έκανε μικρά γκράφιτι στην περιοχή της παλαιάς Λεμεσού. Μέσα από εκείνη την παραλλαγή παρουσιάζεται μια ειρωνεία απέναντι στους νέους και τους κατοίκους της Κύπρου. Επηρεασμένα από αυτή την ειρωνεία είναι και τα τελικά αυτοκόλλητα που θα παρουσιαστούν στο τέλος. Τα αποτελέσματα των φράσεων για τον σχεδιασμό των τελικών αυτοκόλλητων θα συλλεχτούν από το πείραμα που θα γίνει στην συνέχεια. Στο τέλος , θα γίνει η δημιουργία των αυτοκόλλητων σε 4 παραλλαγές και θα τυπωθούν και θα τοποθετηθούν σε διάφορα σημεία στην πάλαια Λεμεσό. Αφού είναι το κέντρο επιρροής των πλείστων νέων στις μέρες μαςen_US
