| dc.description | The basic purpose of the thesis is the propulsion of the modern Cypriot dialect via ‘’Nampou?’’ game. Cypriot dialect is learned as a mother language and it’s observed that as the time goes by its altered by foreign language elements. On the other hand, this is what keeps the dialect alive, evolving. Notable is the fact that from town to town the words have a different accent on the Cypriot dialect. The solution my thesis is proposing through graphic design, is the redesign of the knowledge board game Tabboo. The new design of the game, aims to the awareness of the word's correct meaning and the value of the dialect to the new generation. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Βασικός σκοπός της πτυχιακής εργασίας είναι η προώθηση της σύγχρονης κυπριακής διαλέκτου μέσω του παιχνιδιού «Νάμπου;». Η κυπριακή διάλεκτος είναι μητροδίδακτη και παρατηρείται πως με τον καιρό αλλοιώνεται από ξενόγλωσσα στοιχεία αλλά από την άλλη εξελίσσεται ως μια ζωντανή ντοπιολαλιά. Αξιοσημείωτο είναι το γεγονός ότι ακόμη και οι λέξεις τις κοινής ελληνικής, από επαρχία σε επαρχία έχουν άλλη απόδοση στην κυπριακή διάλεκτο. Αντιλαμβανόμενοι την αξία της κυπριακής διαλέκτου, επιθυμώντας την σωστή εκμάθηση της αλλά και προωθώντας την στις νέες γενιές, προχωρήσαμε στην γραφιστική λύση που είναι η επανασχεδίαση του επιτραπέζιου παιχνιδιού γνώσεων «Taboo», στην κυπριακή διάλεκτο. Το παιχνίδι έχει σκοπό την γνωστοποίηση κυπριακών λέξεων, με την σωστή σημασία τους επιτυγχάνοντας την ορθή χρήση τους . | en_US |
