dc.descriptionThe subject of this thesis is the creation of a visual identity, wayfinding and signage system of the House of Representatives of Cyprus. Initially, through the literature, the term and the importance of visual identity and signage are explored. Then, thesis is referred to the House of Representatives and visual identities of other parliaments are studied. Next, the design of the new visual identity and signage of the Parliament is accomplished since the design problems and the shortcomings of the existing visual identity have been identified and highlighted previously. Finally through the methodology used in this study, the new visual identity of the Parliament is evaluated, followed by the results, conclusions and finally suggestions for future improvements.en_US
dc.description.abstractΘέμα της παρούσας πτυχιακής εργασίας αποτελεί η δημιουργία οπτικής ταυτότητας και σήμανσης του χώρου της Βουλής των Αντιπροσώπων της Κύπρου. Αρχικά, μέσω της βιβλιογραφικής ανασκόπησης, διερευνάται ο όρος και η σημασία της οπτικής ταυτότητας και της σήμανσης. Έπειτα, γίνεται αναφορά στη Βουλή των Αντιπροσώπων και μελετώνται οπτικές ταυτότητες άλλων κοινοβουλίων. Ακολούθως υλοποιείται ο σχεδιασμός της νέας οπτικής ταυτότητας και σήμανση των χώρων της Βουλής, αφού έχουν εντοπιστεί και επισημανθεί προηγουμένως τα σχεδιαστικά προβλήματα και οι ελλείψεις της υφιστάμενης οπτικής ταυτότητας. Τέλος, μέσω της μεθοδολογίας που εφαρμόζεται στη παρούσα μελέτη, αξιολογείται η νέα οπτική ταυτότητα της Βουλής και ακολουθούν τα αποτελέσματα, τα συμπεράσματα και αναφέρονται εισηγήσεις για μελλοντικές βελτιώσεις.en_US
