Στη συνέχεια γίνεται μια αναφορά, σε κτίρια τα οποία βρίσκονται εντός της παλιάς πόλεως της Λεμεσού, στα οποία εφαρμόστηκαν ή προτείνονται να εφαρμοστούν αυτά τα μέτρα, για βελτίωση της λειτουργικότητας και της αντοχής τους. Αρχικά γίνεται μια σύντομη περιγραφή γενικά, γύρω από τα είδη των φερουσών τοιχοσωμάτων και τοιχοποιιών, την μηχανική της φέρουσας τοιχοποιίας, τα συστήματα της τοιχοποιίας, τις αρχές μόρφωσης των κτιρίων από τοιχοποιία, τον σχεδιασμό των κτιρίων έναντι της σεισμικής συμπεριφοράς και τα μέτρα επισκευών και ενισχύσεων της φέρουσας τοιχοποιίας. Τέλος, παρουσιάζονται μερικά κτίρια που βρίσκονται εντός της παλιάς πόλεως της Λεμεσού, όπου έγιναν ή προτείνονται να γίνουν κάποια μέτρα επισκευών και ενισχύσεων για τον λόγο ότι η περιοχή της Λεμεσού είναι ευάλωτη σε σεισμικές διεγέρσεις. | Description: | This thesis has been done in the department of civil engineering and engineering geoinformatics in the Technological University of Cyprus, which pivot on the issues of the bearing masonry such as design, seismic behavior and the repairs and reinforcement hedging techniques according to the Eurocodes. After that has been a reference for the buildings where are located in the old City of Limassol, to which applied or proposed to apply these measures, for improvement of serviceability and durability. Initially, become a brief general description, around the types of bearing walls, the mechanics of the bearing masonry, the systems of masonry, the authority figuration of buildings from masonry, the design of buildings against the Seismic behavior and the measures of repair and reinforcement of the bearing masonry.
