| dc.description | This dissertation studies the contact between Paul Klee, a Northern artist, and the Mediterranean area. Its aim is to shed light on the relationship of the artist and the Mediterranean space, and to examine the principles and elements (morphoplastic experimentations) of his art that result from this exchange. In particular, the dissertation studies the connection between Klee’s travels to Italy, Tunisia and Northeast Africa and the development of the fundamental principles of his artistic, aesthetic, symbolic and poetic methodology and of his consequent modern artistic production. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα διατριβή ασχολείται με την επαφή του Paul Klee, ενός Βόρειου καλλιτέχνη, με τη Μέσογειο. Σκοπός της εργασίας είναι να φωτίσει τις παραμέτρους της σχέσης καλλιτέχνη και μεσογειακού χώρου, και να εξετάσει τα μορφοπλαστικά αποτελέσματα αυτής της συνομιλίας. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, θα διερευνηθεί ο τρόπος με τον οποίο τα ταξίδια του Klee στην Ιταλία, την Τυνησία και τη Βορειοανατολική Αφρική, συνδέονται άμεσα με τις θεμελιώδεις αρχές της καλλιτεχνικής, αισθητικής, συμβολικής και «ποιητικής» μεθοδολογίας του έργου του και με την μετέπειτα νεοτερική εικαστική γραφή του. | en_US |
