Work Accomplished
The voting process consists of 3 rounds.
1st round - Online Judging Criteria
In the first round, voting is conducted individually. Each jury member is required to submit
their votes using the voting platform before the round concludes. Shortlists may be
awarded in each category, with no specific upper or lower limit on the number of
campaigns that can be shortlisted.
Each jury will need to determine as well which projects should be considered for the
"European Star-Johannes Newrkla," "Genius Loci," "Green Star," and "Equal Star" awards
in order to decide the final nominees on the 2nd round.
* Entries must receive a minimum of 50% “In” / “Yes” votes to progress to the next round.
** For Design categories 4.2, 4.3 and 4.7 you will be able to review all entries, but won’t
be allowed to vote until you can see the physical items.
2nd Round - Onsite Judging Criteria
The second voting round is first conducted individually, and followed by a group
discussion. Each jury member will need to determine whether a project deserves a Gold,
Silver or Bronze award, as well as which projects should be considered for the Special
Awards in the third and final round.
● Gold - To qualify for a Gold Award, entries must receive a majority of "Gold"
button selections, and the prize will be determined during the final discussion.
Usually, only one Gold Award is bestowed per category, and in exceptional
cases, none or two may be granted.
● Silver - To qualify for a Silver Award, entries must receive a majority of "Silver" or
“Gold” button selections, and the prize will be determined during the final
discussion.
Multiple or no works can receive Silver recognition.
● Bronze - To qualify for a Bronze Award, entries must receive a majority of
“Bronze”, "Silver" or “Gold” button selections, and the prize will be determined
during the final discussion.
Multiple or no works can receive bronze recognition.
● Shortlist - Any works in this round that do not receive a Bronze, Silver, or Gold
award will be categorized as Shortlisted.
● Grand Prix - One (or a maximum of two) works from the Gold Award selection
of the discipline will be selected as nominees for the Grand Prix Award.
● Special Awards - One (or a maximum of two) works from all the entries
submitted in the discipline might be selected as a nominee for each special
award.

3rd Third Round - Voting for Grand Prix and Special Awards (Onsite)
All Jury members will participate in the final meeting to determine the recipients of the top
5 awards.
Each juror has 1 vote for Grand Prix and 1 vote for each Special Award.
Jury Presidents are allowed to vote in this round.
Grand Prix
The Jury President of each discipline will introduce their Grand Prix Nominee campaign to
the other Jury members. After all the projects have been presented, the decision-making
process will be individual, and the voting will be conducted through the voting platform
using the tablets provided by the organization.
ADCE European Star-Johannes Newrkla
The Jury President of each discipline will introduce their European Star Nominee (if
applicable) to the other Jury members. After all the projects have been presented, the
decision-making process will be individual, and the voting will be conducted through the
voting platform using the tablets provided by the organization.
ADCE Genius Loci
The Jury President of each discipline will introduce their Genius Loci Nominee (if
applicable) to the other Jury members. After all the projects have been presented, the
decision-making process will be individual, and the voting will be conducted through the
voting platform using the tablets provided by the organization.
ADCE Green Star
The Jury President of each discipline will introduce their Green Star Nominee (if applicable)
to the other Jury members. After all the projects have been presented, the
decision-making process will be individual, and the voting will be conducted through the
voting platform using the tablets provided by the organization.
ADCE Equal Star
The Jury President of each discipline will introduce their Equal Star Nominee (if applicable)
to the other Jury members. After all the projects have been presented, the
decision-making process will be individual, and the voting will be conducted through the
voting platform using the tablets provided by the organization.
The session will conclude with 1 Grand Prix, 1 ADCE European Star-Johannes Newrkla, 1
ADCE Genius Loci, 1 ADCE Green Star and 1 ADCE Equal Star that will be revealed
during the Awards Gala.
