| dc.description | This thesis aims to develop the theoretical framework on which my artistic practice is based. My practice refers to concepts such as nature, the landscape, the imprint, light and shadow. I search for and archive nature in the environment I am living in at any given time. I relate this process to a kind of documentation of my landscape and analyze the connection of shadow both in my work and historically in art. I use shadow as an intangible element that evokes memories and experiences. I mention a connection to the Expressionist movement, as well as discussing the main medium I use in my practice, printmaking. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία έχει ως σκοπό να αναπτύξει το θεωρητικό πλαίσιο στο οποίο βασίζεται η ενότητα δουλειάς μου με τίτλο Σκιές σκιών. Η πρακτική μου αναφέρεται σε έννοιες όπως η φύση, το τοπίο, το αποτύπωμα, το φως και η σκιά. Αναζητώ και αρχειοθετώ την φύση στον περιβάλλοντα χώρο που ζω την εκάστοτε χρονική περίοδο. Συνδέω αυτή την διαδικασία με ένα είδος καταγραφής του τοπίου μου και αναλύω την σύνδεση της σκιάς τόσο στο έργο μου όσο και ιστορικά στην τέχνη. Χρησιμοποιώ την σκιά ως ένα άυλο στοιχείο που ανακαλεί μνήμες και εμπειρίες. Αναφέρω μια σύνδεση με το κίνημα του Εξπρεσιονισμού, καθώς επίσης αναλύω και το κύριο μέσο το οποίο χρησιμοποιώ στην πρακτική μου, την χαρακτική. | en_US |
