| dc.description | This project is a techno-economical study of a factory that produces active carbon, an absorbent material with many uses. This factory is interested in examining whether there is the capability of taking into advantage the carbon dust which remains as residual while the factory carries out its several activities. In the first chapter there is a demonstration of this absorbent material and reference is made about its historical background. Moreover, all the available forms of active carbon are presented, as well as the parameters affecting its performance. The applications in which active carbon can be used are also mentioned. In the second chapter a study is conducted regarding the demand on active carbon in the worldwide market as well as in Cyprus. The next chapter contains an analysis of the production method of active carbon, by presenting the procedures and the technical equipment for its production. In chapter 4 there is a research aiming at examining a productive line of great potential, the productivity of which will be based on the technical features of the equipment that will be chosen. The fifth chapter analyses the techno-economical study on this specific production line. Based on the technical equipment and the anticipated productivity, the study examines the cost of investment, the cost of production, the amortization time and the profit of this specific active carbon production factory. Finally, the “sensitivity analysis” method is used, in order to find out the consequences of the economical analysis by changing the value of some parameters. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία αποτελεί μια τεχνοοικονομική μελέτη ενός εργοστασίου παραγωγής ενεργού άνθρακα, ενός απορροφητικού υλικού με πολλές χρήσεις, το οποίο θέλει να εξετάσει εάν έχει την δυνατότητα να εκμεταλλευτεί την σκόνη άνθρακα, που παραμένει ως υπόλειμμα κατά την διεξαγωγή των διάφορων δραστηριοτήτων του. Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο, παρουσιάζεται το συγκεκριμένο απορροφητικό υλικό και γίνεται αναφορά στην ιστορική αναδρομή του. Επίσης, παρουσιάζονται οι μορφές στις οποίες διατίθεται ο ενεργός άνθρακας καθώς και οι παράμετροι που επηρεάζουν την απόδοσή του. Στην συνέχεια γίνεται αναφορά στις εφαρμογές στις οποίες μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο, γίνεται μια μελέτη σχετικά με την ζήτηση του ενεργού άνθρακα, στην παγκόσμια αγορά όπως επίσης και στην Κύπρο. Στο επόμενο κεφάλαιο αναλύεται ο τρόπος παραγωγής του ενεργού άνθρακα, με την παρουσίαση των διεργασιών και του τεχνικού εξοπλισμού που χρειάζονται για την παραγωγή του. Στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται μια έρευνα πάνω σε μια παραγωγική γραμμή μεγάλης δυναμικότητας, η παραγωγικότητα της οποίας θα ορίζεται βάσει των τεχνικών χαρακτηριστικών του εξοπλισμού που θα επιλεγούν. Στο πέμπτο κεφάλαιο εκπονείται η τεχνοοικονομική μελέτη για το συγκεκριμένο μέγεθος γραμμής παραγωγής. Βάσει του τεχνικού εξοπλισμού και της προβλεπόμενης παραγωγικότητας, εξετάζονται τόσο το κόστος επένδυσης, τα έξοδα παραγωγής, ο χρόνος απόσβεσης καθώς και το κέρδος του συγκεκριμένου εργοστασίου παραγωγής ενεργού άνθρακα. Τέλος, πραγματοποιείται η μέθοδος 'ανάλυση ευαισθησίας, ούτως ώστε να βρεθούν οι συνέπειες που υφίσταται η οικονομική ανάλυση αλλάζοντας τις τιμές κάποιων παραμέτρων. | en_US |
