Efi Nisiforou is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts. She is currently a Research Associate and works on the research project: «Internet Social Networks and Online Communities» supervised by Dr. Andrew Laghos. Efi holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and School Improvement, with specialization in Metacognition and Learning Styles, from the University of Manchester (2009) and a B.A degree in Education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2008). Her current research interests fall within the area of School Effectiveness and School Improvement with the utilization of the New Technologies. She is also interested in e-learning, learning styles, teaching diversification and different learning strategies in problem solving. Efi is a member of the Pedagogical Society of Cyprus.
