| dc.description | Introduction: Autism spectrum disorder can be divided into either autism spectrum disorder with a lack of social communication or autism spectrum disorder with repetitive behaviours. It is important to assess the early language skills of children diagnosed with ASD to identify their language weaknesses. Purpose: The purpose of this dissertation is the pilot application of the "Language Ability Test" (DOKIGLO) tool, in the section’s language perception and production. Materials and Method: The sample consisted of 3 children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder between age two to five, from a private center in the province of Nicosia. Furthermore, the native language of children is Greek. To collect the data, the material used was a questionnaire with basic questions about the children's profile and the evaluation tool with the relevant answer recording lists. Data analysis was performed using a spreadsheet program (Excel) Result: The results of the pilot application of "DOKIGLO" tool showed heterogeneity in children's result in each subtest. In addition, the third participant presented the highest scores relative to the other two participants. Whereas all children performed well on the Following Verbal Instructions subtest relative to the other subtests. Conclusion: The pilot application of "DOKIGLO" tool, confirms the diversity and heterogeneity in the language parameters of language perception and expression in children with ASD at the age range of two to five. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Εισαγωγή: Η διαταραχή αυτιστικού φάσματος μπορεί να διαχωριστεί είτε ως διαταραχή αυτιστικού φάσματος με έλλειψη κοινωνικής επικοινωνίας είτε ως διαταραχή αυτιστικού φάσματος με επαναλαμβανόμενες συμπεριφορές. Υψίστης σημασίας, αποτελεί η αξιολόγηση των πρώιμων γλωσσικών δεξιοτήτων των παιδιών με διάγνωση ΔΑΦ ώστε να εντοπισθούν οι γλωσσικές τους αδυναμίες. Σκοπός: Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία έχει ως σκοπό την πιλοτική εφαρμογή του εργαλείου “Δοκίμιο Ικανότητας Γλώσσας» (ΔΟΚΙΓΛΩ) , της αντίληψης και της παραγωγής. Υλικό και Μέθοδος: Το δείγμα αποτελείτο από τρία παιδιά με διάγνωση αυτιστικού φάσματος και ηλικίες από δύο μέχρι πέντε χρονών, από ιδιωτικό κέντρο της επαρχίας Λευκωσίας. Επιπλέον, η μητρική γλώσσα των παιδιών του δείγματος είναι η Ελληνική. Για την συλλογή των δεδομένων, το υλικό που χρησιμοποιήθηκε ήταν ένα ερωτηματολόγιο με βασικές ερωτήσεις για το προφίλ των παιδιών και το εργαλείο αξιολόγηση με τις σχετικές λίστες καταγραφής απαντήσεων. Η ανάλυση των δεδομένων πραγματοποιήθηκε μέσω του προγράμματος υπολογιστικών φύλλων (Excel). Αποτελέσματα: Τα αποτελέσματα της πιλοτικής εφαρμογής του εργαλείου «ΔΟΚΙΓΛΩ» έδειξαν ετερογένεια στις επιδόσεις των παιδιών σε κάθε υποδοκιμασία. Επιπλέον, ο τρίτος συμμετέχοντας παρουσίασε τις υψηλότερες βαθμολογίες σε σχέση με τους άλλους δύο συμμετέχοντες. Ενώ, όλα τα παιδιά είχαν καλές επιδόσεις στην υποδοκιμασία Εκτέλεση Λεκτικών Οδηγιών σε σχέση με τις υπόλοιπες υποδοκιμασίες. Συμπεράσματα: Η πιλοτική εφαρμογή του εργαλείου «ΔΟΚΙΓΛΩ», επιβεβαιώνει τη ποικιλομορφία και την ετερογένεια στις γλωσσικές παραμέτρους της αντίληψης και της έκφρασης σε παιδιά με ΔΑΦ και εύρος ηλικίας δύο μέχρι πέντε. | en_US |
