dc.descriptionAs it is common, repair of reinforced concrete buildings is necessary, because of constant damages. One of the most important problems that causes damage is corrosion. There are many reasons of building corrosion, so knowledge is needful. With the proper education, detection and recognition of corrosion damages will be practicable. This phenomenon is major because of its effects on building structure. Corrosion phenomenon of reinforced concrete can be repaired by using common surgeries as well as active surgeries. Furthermore, for each case of corrosion there is a necessary treatment with building replacement materials and their proper use. In addition, problems like this can be avoided taking precautions, for example insulation applications of reinforced concrete buildings. The responsibility of civil engineer is to explain damages of existing buildings and to come up against every hurdle by using his knowledge and the appropriate damage control.en_US
dc.description.abstractΌπως είναι γνωστό, οι επισκευές των κατασκευών οπλισμένου σκυροδέματος είναι απαραίτητες, αφού συνεχώς παρατηρούνται επισκευαστικά προβλήματα. Ένα από τα σημαντικότερα προβλήματα που εμφανίζονται είναι η διάβρωση, η οποία είναι ένα σοβαρό φαινόμενο το οποίο εκδηλώνεται λόγω πολλών παραγόντων. Για τον λόγο αυτό, απαιτείται η γνώση για την αναγνώριση των προβλημάτων αυτών, επειδή μπορεί να επηρεαστεί ο στατικός φορέας σε μεγάλο βαθμό. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί, πως το φαινόμενο της διάβρωσης σε κατασκευές οπλισμένου σκυροδέματος, μπορεί να αντιμετωπιστεί τόσο με ήπιες επεμβάσεις, όσο και με ενεργές επεμβάσεις. Για κάθε περίπτωση διάβρωσης, πρέπει να εφαρμόζονται τα κατάλληλα υλικά αποκατάστασης κτιρίων καθώς και η ορθή χρήση τους. Το φαινόμενο αυτό, μπορεί να αποφευχθεί με προληπτικούς τρόπους, όπως είναι η εφαρμογή μονώσεων στο οπλισμένο σκυρόδεμα των κατασκευών. Σημαντικό ρόλο έχει ο πολιτικός μηχανικός, ο οποίος πρέπει να ερμηνεύει κάθε ζημιά που υπάρχει σε κάθε υφιστάμενη κατασκευή, και να αντιμετωπίζει κάθε πρόβλημα με την ορθή μεταχείριση.en_US
