| dc.description | The aim of this study was to investigation the morphosyntactic and semantic development of Cypriot children in the Greek Cyprus Dialect using the test Action Pictures. This study is the first preliminary attempt to investigate the language profile by applying an experimental pilot research in Greek Cyprus school age children. Typically, children, 6; 6 – 8; 6 years ago (n=24), are the participants of this study, were divided into two groups according to their age, for analysis and comprehension purposes between them. All children were examining using Vogindrouka’s test; Action Pictures: Test of Information and Grammatical Competence, and then quantitative variables were expressed as Mean Average and Standard Deviation. For the comparison of two proportions groups between information and grammatical competence were used t – test (p <, 05), for the comparison of normal variable between two groups. The results of their overall score in the test were that the older children to an age group, scored more from the younger age group, however no significant differences were found in information or grammatical competence between the younger and the older group, insomuch p – value was > 0,05. Furthermore, pronounced differences were observed, in the phrases of Cypriot children, due to the dialect at all linguistic levels; vocal, phonology, syntax, morphology and semantics. As a first attempt, the results provide important information as well as suggestions for further research. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Σκοπός της παρούσας έρευνας, ήταν να διερευνήσει τη μορφοσυντακτική και σημασιολογική ανάπτυξη των κυπριόπουλων παιδιών στην Κυπριακή διάλεκτο, αξιοποιώντας το ελληνικό εργαλείο Εικόνες Δράσεις. Η παρούσα μελέτη, αποτελεί τη πρώτη προκαταρτική προσπάθεια διερεύνησης γλωσσικού προφίλ, εφαρμόζοντας μια πιλοτική διαδικασία σε κυπριόπουλα παιδιά σχολικής ηλικίας. Το συνολικό δείγμα της παρούσας έρευνας αποτέλεσαν παιδιά τυπικής ανάπτυξης ηλικίας 6;6 – 8;6 ετών (Ν=24), τα οποία στην συνέχεια διαχωρίστηκαν σε δυο ηλικιακές ομάδες για σκοπούς ανάλυσης και σύγκρισης των δυο ομάδων μεταξύ τους. Χορηγήθηκε το εργαλείο Εικόνες Δράσης: Γραμματική και Πληροφοριακή Επάρκεια του Ιωάννη Βογινδρούκα, σε όλα τα παιδιά και στην συνέχεια πραγματοποιήθηκε στατιστική ανάλυση των δεδομένων με τους Μ.Ο. και των T.A., εφαρμόζοντας την στατιστική δοκιμασία t – test (p < ,05). Τα αποτελέσματα ήταν ότι τα πιο μεγάλα σε ηλικία παιδιά, που άνηκαν στη μια ηλικιακή ομάδα, σκόραραν περισσότερο από τα παιδιά της πιο μικρής ηλικιακής ομάδας στην επίδοση της συνολικής δοκιμασίας, εντούτοις η διαφορά αυτή δεν αποτέλεσε σημαντική στατιστική διαφορά, αφού p > 0,05. Επιπλέον παρατηρήθηκαν έντονες διαφοροποιήσεις στις εκφράσεις των κυπριόπουλων παιδιών, εξαιτίας της διαλέκτου σε όλα τα γλωσσικά επίπεδα: φωνητική, φωνολογία, σύνταξη, μορφολογία και σημασιολογία. Ως πρώτη προσπάθεια, τα αποτελέσματα δίνουν σημαντικές πληροφορίες καθώς και προτάσεις για περαιτέρω έρευνα. | en_US |
