Abstract: This project is divided into three (3) Parts: Chapter (1) Heavy duty CI systems. Chapter (2) Fuel Injection Faults & Service (Dealing in detail with Fuel Injection). Chapter (3) Fuel Injection pump maintenance (including fault tracing a remedies for distributor & plunger tupes of pumps). In Chapter 1 different types of heavy duty diesel fuel injectors systens (fuel injection pumps and ejectors) are descriped. In Chapter 2 different injection faults are outlined in general in Chart No, 1. The Chapter deals extensively with service and maintenance of fuel injections and also with fuel ejector faults in Chart No, 2.
