| Abstract: | The object of this project is to design and construct a Chain Pipe-Gripping Tool. At a first stage some different types of such existing tools are presented and also the tool to be designed is presented and described. Also an explanation about how to use it is found. Then the actual design phase is analysed including drawings and dimensioning of the tool parts. Afterwards the possible methods of construction are described and then the actual method of construction of the tool is analysed presenting production planning sheets and drawings at each operation stage. Finally a cost estimation is applied in design, construction and materials. |
