| Abstract: | A statistical comparison between Secondary School pupils that have
experienced drug-use and pupils that never tried has been performed based on a
random sample of 831 questionnaires. The aim is to establish the key characteristics
of potential users within the Cyprus youth. A number of psychological and
sociological factors that possibly lead to drug abuse were identified. The results of this
study may be employed for the planning of drug-abuse prevention campaigns. |
