Implementation of the varonoi diagram and the delaunay triangulation for the 3D reconstruction of human bones

Title: Implementation of the varonoi diagram and the delaunay triangulation for the 3D reconstruction of human bones

Authors: Achniotou, Miranda; Gavriellidou, Ellie

Abstract: Having a system that gives you the ability to reconstruct a 3D object on the screen can be very helpful, since you can analyze the objecVmodel completely and effectively. Up to now, the existing imaging systems produce only 20 images and the development of a 3D reconstruction system can be describedas a revolution in medicine. The subject of this project is a part of the EU-project, suggested by the European Union to the Higher Technical Institute, called "KIT' (Keep In Touch). It is important to emphasize that the purpose of this project is not to make the perfect 3D Reconstruction System for Human Bones, but to fill in the gab between the existing 20 Imaging System and a perfect 3D Reconstruction System. Project CS/141 makes an attempt to solve this problem.

Description: Διπλωματική εργασία, Υπουργείο Εργασίας και Κοινωνικών Ασφαλίσεων, Ανώτερο Τεχνολογικό Ινστιτούτο

Design of the electrical services of hotel apartments

Title: Design of the electrical services of hotel apartments

Authors: Demetriou, Georgios

Abstract: The present study is fully decicated to the design of the electrical services for hotelappartments. The project, based on the fundamental regulations of the IEE, provides full analysis of results and design procedures together with all the necessary information regarding the project design. The inclusion of drawings and typical calculation examples for each part of the design, as well as tables in which the results of all circuits, distribution boards ratings and illumination results are listed, were considered very important. The whole ,design is made in accordance to therelevant regulation for each system.

Description: Διπλωματική εργασία, Υπουργείο Εργασίας και Κοινωνικών Ασφαλίσεων, Ανώτερο Τεχνολογικό Ινστιτούτο

Design of the electrical services of a factory

Title: Design of the electrical services of a factory

Authors: Loizou, Loizos

Abstract: This project "the design of the electrical services of a factory" deals with the electrical installation of a furniture factory. The main objectives are: l)To design the complete electrical services for aspecified factory which will include the following: a)Fire and burglar alarm systems.b)Telephone installation and internal communications. c)Power factor correction.2)To study the illumination engineering work involved. 3)To provide all necessary diagrams ,schedule of materials and costing including labour. In carrying out the design the lEE wiring Regulations 16th edition E.A.C ,CYTA and FOC requirements were taken into account.

Description: Διπλωματική εργασία, Υπουργείο Εργασίας και Κοινωνικών Ασφαλίσεων, Ανώτερο Τεχνολογικό Ινστιτούτο
