Abstract
The objective of the project is to facilitate for Swedish farmers to produce faba beans and lupins of optimal quality in order to make these raw materials attractive to both national and international food industry to use and develop new food products.

The project has conducted field trials of both faba beans and lupins during two seasons (2017 and 2018) at four different locations in Sweden, ranging from Skåne in the south to Umeå in the North. Different varieties and cultivations techniques has been investigated. The functional properties of the collected raw materials has been investigated and several food products based on faba bean or lupins have been developed.
